- SWANTON - Lisa Michelle Wade, 15, of 18461 Maryland Highway, Swanton, died Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2000, after being hit by a vehicle near her residence. Born on April 22, 1985, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of Daniel Wade and Lois (Broadwater) Wade. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Kenneth Wade; and a very special friend, Eddie Rogers, earlier this year. Lisa was a sophomore at Westmar High School, where she was a member of the Girls Varsity Soccer team and the Cross Country team. She was also involved in the George's Creek Soccer Club. She graduated from eighth grade at Bloomington School, where she served at Student Council President. The family are members of the Bloomington Charge United Methodist Church. Surviving in addition to her parents are three sisters, Deanna Wade, Keyser, W.Va., Erica Wade and Andrea Wade, both at home; one niece, Alyvea Fields, Keyser; maternal grandparents, Delbert "Pete" Broadwater and Norma (McKenzie) Broadwater, Westernport; paternal grandmother, Irene (Wade) Saville, Keyser; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and many close friends, whom she held dear to her heart. Friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home in Westernport on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church in Piedmont on Sunday at 2 p.m. Interment will be in the Bloomington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the United Cerebral Palsy Foundation, The Lisa Wade Memorial Fund, c/o Wepco FCU, P.O.
