Born in Garrett County, she was the daughter of the late Dennis and Hannah (McKenzie ) LaRue. She was member of St. Michael’s catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Samuel Winebrenner; three sons, Samuel Winebrenner, Jr., and John Winebrenner, both of Altoona, and David Winebrenner, Baltimore; two daughters, Mrs. Ray Housel, Frostburg, and Mrs. Blanche McKenzie, Baltimore. The body will be at the Durst Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today. Cumberland Evening Times, Thursday, September 4, 1958 Winebrenner Services – Frostburg – A requiem mass for Mrs. Dessie Winebrenner, 70, who died at her home in Vale Summit Wednesday, will be celebrated tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. in St. Michael’s Catholic Church.
