- Mrs. Elizabeth Wade Plummer, 93, formerly of 725 Fairmont Avenue, died yesterday at Lions Manor. She had been in ill health two years. She had 209 descendants. A native of Frostburg, she was a daughter of the late Enoch and Mary (Quenale) Wade, and was the widow of Charles H. Plummer. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church. Surviving are six sons, Orville, Charles, Alonzo, Harold and Kenneth Plummer, all of Cumberland, and David Plummer, Akron. Ohio; four daughters, Mrs. Charles Hout, Mrs. Robert Lewis, city; Mrs. Irvin Lease, Baltimore; and Mrs. Carl Fletterman, Wheaton; two brothers, Charles Wade, Carlos, and Robert Wade, New Castle; and three sisters, Mrs. Lee McKinley, Mrs. Nellie Wear and Mrs. Mary Grossman, New Castle; 82 grandchildren, 99 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren. The body is at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, where friends will be received from 7 until 9 p.m. today and from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. tomorrow. Services will be conducted Monday at 2:30 p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church on Elder Street with the Rev. W. T. Wines, the Rev. Arthur Vespa and the Rev. Albert Ogden officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Burial Park. The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to services. The Cumberland Evening Times, February 21, 1976
