- Mrs. Margaret M. McKenzie, 89, of 348 Williams Street, died yesterday in Sacred Heart Hospital. A native of Halltown, W.Va., she was a daughter of the late Michael Higgins and Mary Anastasia (Bowler) Higgins. Her husband, Charles L. McKenzie, preceded her in death. She was a member of St. Patrick Church and the Sodality. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Kathleen Stakem, this city; one brother, Thomas Carroll Higgins, with whom she resided; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home. A Christian wake service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. this evening. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. tomorrow in St. Patrick Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers will be Glenn H. Cross Jr., Bert Baker, Clarence E. Wolfe, Edward F. Dressman, Brother Mark Lowery, and Walter Files. Cumberland News, November 14, 1980
