  Notes	Mr. Sibley Benson McKenzie, 79 of Monroeville, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at home after an 18 month battle with cancer. He was the son of the late Joel Augustus McKenzie and Dovie Rowell McKenzie. After serving in the United State Air Force, Sibley began a 37 year career with the United States Postal Service. Upon retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his children at his grandchildren's multiple sporting events. He was their #1 fan. He also adored his two great-granddaughters and traveled at every opportunity to see them. He was an active member of Mexia Baptist Church. Mr. McKenzie was preceded in death by his son, Robert Benson McKenzie, and sister-in-law, Barbara Bayles McKenzie. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Loretta Lambert McKenzie; sons and daughters-in-law, Doyle and Sarah McKenzie of Troy, AL and Barry and Bonnie McKenzie of Orange Beach, AL; daughter and son-in-law, Karla and Brad Holder of Old Salem, AL; grandchildren, Dustin and Whitney Bruce, Brad and Katherine McKenzie, Katie, Elizabeth and Sawyer McKenzie, Fischer and Mary Faith McKenzie, Trace and Trevor Holder; great grandchildren, Marlie and Isabella Bruce; brothers and sisters-in-law, William and Helen McKenzie, Sonnie and Essie McKenzie, Carl and Onadell McKenzie and Bobby and Trudy McKenzie; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday, October 7, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Mexia Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne McMillian officiating and grandson, Dustin Bruce speaking. Burial will follow in Mexia Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, October 7th from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the church.
