- LONACONING — Catherine B. McKenzie, 82, formerly of Jackson Street, Lonaconing, died Wednesday, Nov. 30, 1994, at Frostburg Village Nursing Home, Frostburg. She was a resident of Frostburg Village Nursing Home for two and a hah years. Her husband, John L. McKenzie, died in 1974. Surviving are two daughters, Dolora A. Gowans and husband Jack of Lonaconing and Ardtha Robertson and husband William of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan; five grandchildren, Kim and husband Lonnie Preston, Kevin Robertson, Tracy Duffy, Roby Robertson and Travis Robertson; five great-grandchildren, Nick, Ben, Ashleigh, Austin and Addison Linn; and several nieces and nephews. She was the last member of her immediate family. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church, Lonaconing, a member of Morning Star Temple #1, Pythian Sisters, Lonaconing. The body is at the Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home, where friends will be received on Friday. Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Donald Webb.
