- FROSTBURG - Grace Elizabeth McKenzie, 67, formerly of 201 McCulloh St., Frostburg, died Wednesday, March 27, 2002, at the Saint Vincent dePaul Nursing Center. Born Dec. 10, 1934, in Eckhart, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Grace (Linehart) Felker. Mrs. McKenzie was also preceded in death by her husband, William Alvie McKenzie Sr. She was retired from the housekeeping department at Frostburg State University, and she formerly was employed at the Princess Restaurant and Diamonds Restaurant, both of Frostburg. Mrs. McKenzie was a member of the Frostburg Church of the Brethren. Surviving are one son, William McKenzie Jr., Frostburg; two daughters, Carole McKenzie, Towson, and Teresa Campbell and husband John, Midland; two grandchildren, Dana McKenzie and Dylan McKenzie; three sisters, Betty Myers, Eckhart, Gloria Kessler, Confluence, Pa., and Ginger Baer, Zihlman; one brother, Charles Felker, Cumberland; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, P.A., 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. T. William Preston officiating. Interment will be in the Frostburg Memorial Park. Cumberland Times-News, March 28, 2002.
