- Elva M. Conlon - Formerly of 1318 9th St., died at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, April 3, 1971, in Altoona Hospital, where she was admitted March 27 from Albright Nursing Home, after a lengthy illness. She was born in Altoona on March 5, 1890, a daughter of Demetrius A. and Mary Catherine (Tracy) McKenzie, and married Cletus J. Conlon, who died Sept. 6, 1954. Surviving are a son, Raymond F. of Altoona; one granddaughter, and a brother, Eugene of Ephrata. Mrs. Conlon was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a retired employe of the Penn Alto Hotel. Friends will be received in the Stevens Mortuary from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. Altoona Mirror, April 5, 1971.
She is buried in St. John's Cemetery, Altoona, Blair County, Pennsylvania.
