- Raymond D. McKenzie - Died at his parents' home, 1712 Fourteenth avenue, last evening at 9:30 o'clock of stomach trouble, from which he had been suffering for the past two months. He was a son of Demetrius A. and Mary B. McKenzie and was born in this city, Janunry 17, 1888. After leaving school he entered the Pennsylvania railroad shops to learn the trade of machinist and on March 9 completed his apprenticeship. Three days later he was taken ill. Besides his parents, he is survived by three sisters, Elva, Bertha and Elsie, and one brother, Eugene, at home. He was a member of St. John's Catholic church, the Pennsylvania Railroad Relief association and the Yardmen's Beneficial association. Altoona Mirror, May 22, 1909.
He is buried in St. John's Cemetery, Altoona, Blair County, Pennsylvania.
