- Frostburg, Feb. 9 — Mrs. Herman Broadwater, aged 40, died at her home in Avilton, Garrett County, Tuesday. She is survived by her husband and seven children, Evelyn, Archie, Gladstone, Daniel, Junior, Herbert and an infant born a short time before her death. She was a sister of Charles, Wolford and Stanley Warn, Garrett county, Salem and Jabez Warn, Cleveland, Ohio, and Mrs. Ellen Crowe, Frostburg. Mrs. Broadwater had been the mother of twelve children, five of whom died. Funeral service will be held from the Cherry Grove Church, Garrett county, Friday at 2:30 p.m. Interment will be in the family burying ground. The Cumberland Evening Times, February 9, 1933

He died on 22 Aug 1960 in Cumberland, Allegany Co., Maryland. Amelia Jane WARNE and Herman Clinton BROADWATER had the following children:
