SAVAGE — Aden Joseph Lavin, 60, who formerly operated Lavin's Tavern here, died Friday in the Western Maryland State Hospital, Hagerstown, where he had been a patient two years. A native of Eckhart, he was a son of the late John and Rebecca (Folk) Lavin, and the husband of Mrs. Fannie (Chisholm) Lavin. Mr. Lavin was a member of the Mt. Savage Volunteer Fire Company. Besides his wife, he is survived by five sons, Aden E. Lavin, Arlington, Va.; Francis J. Lavin, Cleveland, Ohio; Wilbert G., Irvin P., and David D., all at home; two daughters, Mrs. Raymond O'Neal, of here; Mrs. Donald Beal, of Washington, Pa.; two brothers, George Lavin, Eckhart; Leo Lavin, Frostburg; three sisters, Mrs. John Robinson, Cleveland; Mrs. John Klosterman and Mrs. Hilary Lancaster, both of Eckhart; and four grandchildren. The body is at the Silcox Funeral Residence. Services will be conducted at the funeral home tomorrow at 2 p. m. by Rev. Michael Smyth, pastor of St. Patrick's Church of Mt. Savage.
