- Blanche Marie McKenzie, 74, of Cumberland Manor Apartments, Cumberland, Md., died Wednesday, Dec. 11, 1996, at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland. She was born Dec. 7, 1922, in Frostburg, Md., a daughter of the late Samuel and Dessie (LaRue) Winebrenner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo C. McKenzie Sr.; and nine brothers and sisters. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are two sons, Leo C. McKenzie Jr. of Bedford and Alan J. McKenzie of Baltimore, Md.; five grandchildren and a niece. Mrs. McKenzie was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial: noon Saturday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, with Father Frank Brauer officiating. Burial in Johnson Cemetery, Frostburg. The Bedford Inquirer, December 20, 1996
