Besides his parents, he is survived by his widow, Mrs. Patricia (Bowen) Minnick, two sons, Karl Minnick Jr. and Buddie Minnick, at home; three sisters, Mrs. Patricia Gurski, Miss Brenda Minnick, both of Baltimore and Mrs. Cheryl Gilpin, Frostburg; a half sister, Miss Tina Marie Bittinger, Frostburg; four brothers, Joseph Minnick, Elmer Minnick Jr., Robert Minnick all of Baltimore, and Roger Minnick, Frostburg and a half brother Herman Bittinger Jr., Denver, Colo.
