SALISBURY, Pa. — William F. Dishong, 72, of Latrobe, Pa., died Saturday in a hospital there. He was a former resident of here. Born at Indiana, Pa., he was a son of the late John and Martha (Orner) Dishong. Mr. Dishong was a member of Latrobe Evangelical United Brethren Church. Surviving are his widow Mary (Hull) Dishong; two sons, Charles Dishong, Oklahoma, and Orville Dishong, Latrobe; daughter, Mrs. Nola McKenzie, Beltsville, Md.; two brothers, Samuel Dishong, Hyndman, and Herman Dishong, Frostburg; five sisters, Mrs. Mary Wampler, Frostburg; Mrs. Goldie Walker, Meyersdale; Mrs. Nellie Shumaker, Boynton; Mrs. Sylvia Shumaker, Middleton, and Mrs. Marie Carbaugh, Thurmont, Md.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The body is at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, where friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted there tomorrow at 2 p.m. by Rev. Earl Harper. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. The Cumberland Evening Times, April 6, 1970.
