  Notes	GRANTSVILLE — Mabel Louise McKenzie, 86, of Grantsville, died Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, at Goodwill Mennonite Home, Grantsville, after a short battle with cancer. Born April 17, 1927, in Cookeville, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Hiram and Sarah (Dunn) Chaffin. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Tennis J. Crum and her husband of 51 years, Robert L. McKenzie, who left this world on March 11 of this year; an infant daughter, Darlene Crum; one son, David W. Crum; two brothers, Horace and Howard Chaffin and one sister, Anna Margaret (Chaffin) Haul. She is survived by three children, son, Steven T. Crum and wife, Sue, Indiana; daughter, Sandra R. (Crum) Murray and husband, Charles and son, Kevin L. McKenzie and wife, Tanya, all of Grantsville; five grandchildren, Tracy R. Murray-Stewart and husband, Jon, Severna Park, Kerry J. Murray and significant other, Chris, Grantsville, Jennifer R. (Crum) Lehman and husband, Olin, Randall Crum and wife, Jennifer and Sarah Crum, all of Indiana; two step-grandchildren, Ashley M. Folk and Andy Folk, both of Grantsville; five step-grandchildren of Indiana; 12 great-grandchildren and eight step-great grandchildren. She also leaves behind one sister, Reba Mason and one brother, Hubert Chaffin, both of Tennessee; and a number of nieces and nephews. She had quite a few friends in and around the town of Grantsville. Louise worked 30 some years for Liberty Trust Bank, now M&T Bank of Grantsville. She loved the out-of-doors and had gardens, both vegetable and flowers, which she enjoyed very much. Louise was a dog lover and raised quite a few Pomeranians over the years. She and Robert also did Field Trials with the beagles he raised. At Louise’s request, she will be cremated and there will be no visitation or funeral services held.
