  Notes	FROSTBURG - Alma M. (Deibler) Cunningham, 98, of Frostburg, died Monday, June 5, 2006, at her residence with her daughters by her bedside. Born Oct. 8, 1907, in Garrett County, she was the daughter of the late Grant and Rachael (McKenzie) Deibler. Mrs. Cunningham was also preceded in death by her husband, Francis "Red" Cunningham, June 8, 1998; one daughter, Rita Ann; two sisters, Ruth Colgan and Mildred Wilhelm; and an infant brother, Leo. A homemaker, Alma is survived by two daughters, Wilda M. Plummer and husband Berl and Elaine M. Diamond and husband Bill Sr., all of Frostburg. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Paula Rita Morgan and husband Gene, Marty Plummer and wife Mary Jane, Bill Diamond Jr. and wife Jane, Jon Diamond and wife Karen, Jim Diamond and wife Cindy, Maria Cotton and husband Dave, all of Frostburg; 13 great-grandchildren, Matthew and Christopher Morgan, Joshua and Lindsey Plummer, Alyssa and David Cotton, Kristin, Sean, Andrew, Eric, Nicholas, Elizabeth and Olivia Diamond, all of Frostburg. Mrs. Cunningham is also survived by a sister, Julia Muir of Cumberland; and two nephews and a niece whom she helped raise, Senator Charles Colgan, Manassas, Robert Colgan, Manassas, and Cassie Bellows, Florida. She is also survived by her devoted caregivers, Marion Simmans who has been with Alma for the past six years, Barbara Martin, Tammy Sturtz and Evelyn Winner; and a number of nieces and nephews who she loved deeply. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, P.A., 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Wednesday, June 7 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Michael Church, Frostburg, on Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Father William Moody as celebrant. Interment will be in the Saint Michael's Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her great-grandsons. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Saint Michael Church, 44 E. Main St., Frostburg, MD 21532 in memory of Alma. The Cumberland Times-News, June 7, 2006
