Miss Nellie Elizabeth McKenzie, 47, Winchester Road, Cresaptown, died yesterday at Sacred Heart Hospital where she had been admitted Saturday. Born in Cresaptown, she was a daughter of Mrs. Alice (Robison) McKenzie Clayton, with whom she resided, and the late Albert McKenzie. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church. Surviving are her stepfather, Brooks H. Clayton; four sisters, Mrs. Samuel Lease, Mrs. Thornton Lease, Cresaptown; Mrs. George Clayton, and Miss Theresa Clayton, at home; three brothers, Thomas, William and Clarence McKenzie, all of Cresaptown. The body is at the George Funeral Home where friends will be received from 7 until 9 p.m. and from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. tomorrow. The Cumberland News, November 1, 1967.
She was buried on 3 Nov 1967 in St. Ambrose Catholic Cemetery, Cresaptown, Allegany Co., Maryland. Requiem mass for Miss Nellie E. McKenzie, 47, Winchester Road, Cresaptown, who died Tuesday, will be celebrated tomorrow at noon at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Cresaptown. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
