Va., he was born November 5, 1864. and was a son of the late John E. and Mary (McAbe) Shepherd. His wife, Mrs. Laverna C. McKenzie is also deceased. Surviving are two daughters. Mrs. Simon Newlin, Winifred Road, with whom he resided; Mrs. Harness Miller, Cresaptown; three sons, James Shepherd. Louis Shepherd. Cresaptown; George Shepherd. Baltimore; two brothers, Charles and John Shepherd, Ridgeley; a sister, M rs. Phoebe Humphrey, Lonaconing; 36 grandchildren and 55 greatgrandchildren. The body is at George Funeral Home.
