  Notes	Mrs. Ruth F. McKenzie, 49, of Avenue D, Potomac Park, died yesterday at her residence. Death was attributed to carbon monoxide poisoning, according to the deputy county medical examiner. State Police said the woman was found lying on the floor of her enclosed garage beside the tailpipe of her automobile and that its engine was running. Born in Franklin, W. Va., was a daughter of the late Claude A. and Lula F. (Lambert) Simmons. Her husband, Garland R. McKenzie, preceded her in death in 1973. Mrs. McKenzie was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Surviving are five sisters, Mrs. Blanche M. Johnson, Potomac Park; Mrs. Elva Breedlove, Winchester Road; Mrs. Mabel Roberson and Mrs. Cornella Hedrick, both of Franklin, and Mrs. Retha Morris, Louisville, Ky.; and two brothers, Roy and Oscar Simmons, both of Franklin. The body is at the George Funeral Home where friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church and interment will be in SS Peter and Pul Cemetery. A Christian wake service will be held Sunday at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The Cumberland Evening Times, January 3, 1975.
