February 27, 2009, Cumberland Times-News ~ BEL AIR, CUMBERLAND — Linda Rae Lewis, 61, of Bel Air, Cumberland, passed away Thursday, Feb. 26, 2009, at her residence. Born May 17, 1947, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Roy Calvin and Wilma (Lease) Ware. Mrs. Lewis graduated from Allegany High School in 1965 and went on to attend Shenandoah University in Virginia where she majored in business. She was also a former employee of Trozzo, Lowery, Weston and Rock. She lived out of this area because her husband was in the military for 28 years. Surviving are her husband of 41 years, Robert R. Lewis; two sons, Bric A. Lewis and wife Tonya, Cresaptown, and Darrin W. Lewis, Cresaptown; two sisters, Robin Fadley, Cresaptown, and Kayla Dawson, Cumberland; one special granddaughter, Zoe Saryn Lewis; and a special great-niece, Ember Dawn Fadley; aunts and uncles, Paul and Flo Lease, Bill and Colleen Smith, Darlene Lease and Donna Mallow; niece, Shay Kennell and husband Tyler, Cresaptown; nephew, Eric Fadley and special friend Tammy, Cresaptown; and lifelong friend, Glenda Boor, Frostburg; nephews, Jimmy and Lonnie. Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., Cresaptown, scarpellifh.com <http://www.scarpellifh.com> on Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Harold R. McClay officiating. Interment will be in the Maryland State Veterans Cemetery at Rocky Gap, Flintstone. Pallbearers will be Tyler Kennell, Eric Fadley, Jimmy Iser, Lonnie Iser, Victor Lease and George Jewell.
