Born in Cumberland, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Clara (Sell) Nies. Her husband, JohnWilliam "Bill" McKenzie, preceded her in death. Mrs. McKenzie was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and the Confraternity of the Church Mothers. Surviving are two sons, Milnor C. "Bud" McKenzie, with whom she resided, and William T. McKenzie, Hagerstown; two daughters, Mrs. Helen K. Gorsuch, LaVale; Mrs. Shirley E. Langley, Solomans, Md.; one brother, William B. Nies, Cumberland; three sisters, Mrs. Murvel Kauffman, Mrs. Max Forbes, both of Cumberland; Mrs. Ann Zilman, Washington, D.C.; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Silcox-Merritt Funeral Residence today and tomorrow. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Interment will be in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery. The rosary will be recited tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers, all grandsons, will be John L. Langley, Raymond L.
