KEYSER - Mrs. Blanche Virginia Brewer, 82, widow of Samuel E. Brewer, died yesterday at Keyser Nursing Home, Mt. Lake Park. She was a daughter of the late Charles and Matilda (Blair) McKenzie and was born in Cresaptown, Md. Mrs. Brewer and her husband, who died in 1941, used to manage the old Mineral County Home, near Gerszell. She was a member of Dawson Methodist Church. Surviving are a son, Charles S. Brewer, Frederick, Md.; a sister, Mrs. Nora Fetterolf, Catawissa, Pa., nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Rogers Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p. m. today and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. The Cumberland Evening Times, June 19, 1958
