- KEYSER, W.Va. — Debra Joleen Walker, 39, of 1300 Rosebud Court, Charleston, and formerly of Keyser, died Friday, April 24, 1998, at her home. She was born in Cumberland, Md., on Feb. 24, 1959, and was the daughter of Robert L. and Joanna P. (McKenzie) Walker of Keyser. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ralph and Ella Mae McKenzie, and paternal grandfather, Robert Lee Walker Sr. She was a graduate of Keyser High School, class of 1977. She was a member of the Piedmont Pentecostal Holiness Church. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her paternal grandmother, Naomi M. Walker, of Moran Manor Nursing Home; one brother, Robert R. Walker and wife, Carolyn, Falling Waters; three sisters, Mrs. Nancy S. Whitehurst and husband, David, Martinsburg, Mrs. Carol A. Crites and husband, Samuel, Keyser, and Mrs. Patti L. Marple and husband, Donald, Keyser; and a special friend, Randy Burdette, Charleston; five nephews, Samuel and Andrew Crites, David Whitehurst, Donald and Nathan Marple; and three nieces, Amy Hawley, Julie Whitehurst and Dianna Walker. Friends will be received at the Fredlock Funeral Home, Piedmont. Interment will be in Mount Zion Cemetery. Cumberland Times-News, Sunday, April 26, 1998
