- Isaac Clifford Parker, 86, of Fairgo, died yesterday at Lions Manor Nursing Home. He had been in failing health the past three years. A native of Romney, he was a son of the late Samuel B. and Mary (Biser) Parker. He was employed as caretaker at the Cumberland Fairgrounds for 36 years and was a member of the Brethren Church. Surviving and his widow, Ethel (Grant) Parker; a son, Samuel J. Parker, Fairgo; a daughter, Mrs. Vivian Kamauf, Cresaptown; a sister, Mrs. Clara Cunningham, Keyser; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. The body is at the Hafer Chapel of the Hills Mortuary, LaVale, where friends will be received from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. A service will be conducted there Monday at 1 p.m. with Rev. Harold R. McClay Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Indian Mound Cemetery, Romney. The Cumberland News, July 8, 1972.
