  Notes	CRESAPTOWN — James W. Grant, 43, Brant Road, Cresaptown, died yesterday, in Memorial Hospital where he had been admitted June 13. Born in Beryl, W. Va., he was the son of Charles R. and Eva (Burke) Grant of Cresaptown. Surviving are his widow, Pauline (Peterson); four daughters, Nancy Sue, Barbara Ann, Joanne Lee, and Jill Marie, all at home; one son, James W. Grant Jr., at home; two brothers, C. William Grant, Buffalo Mills, Pa.; and C. Robert Grant, Cumberland, and five sisters, Mrs. Amelia Clayton, Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Mildred Combs, LaVale; Mrs. Dorothy Shimer, Eckhart; Mrs. Pauline Flanigan, Cresaptown, and Mrs. Verna Moon, LaVale. Mr. Grant is a veteran of World War II, a member of Cresaptown Aerie FOE; Victory Post 155, American Legion, and the Allegany County Bowling Association. He was employed by Mason Dairy. The body is at the George Funeral Home where friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A service will be conducted there tomorrow at 1 p.m. Rev. W. Randolph Keefe Jr., and Rev. Samuel N. Booth will officiate and interment will be in Eckhart Cemetery. Aerie 2883 will hold a service at the funeral home today at 8 p.m. The Cumberland News, June 27, 1967.
