- FROSTBURG — Margaret E. McKenzie-Whetstone, 72, of 72 Frost Village, Frostburg, died Monday, March 28, 1994, at Sacred Heart Hospital. Born on March 15, 1922 in Frostburg, she was the daughter of the late James Walter Rizer and Mary (Eisentrout) Rizer. Mrs. Whetstone was a homemaker and she was Methodist by faith. Surviving are her husband, Leslie “Tuck” Whetstone; one son, James E. McKenzie and wife, Arlene, Cresaptown; three daughters, Donna J. Shriver and husband, John, National; Carolyn L. Shoemake and husband, John A., Cresaptown; Debra A. Negley and husband, Ed, Frostburg; one step son, Dale L. Whetstone, Baltimore; four step daughters, Mary Thomas and Margaret Jackson, both of Frostburg; Doris Bruner, Cumberland; Patricia Michaels, Baltimore; one sister, Genevieve Caton, Laurel; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. George A. Aist officiating.
