  Notes	Charles Shriver Grant, 88, of 74 Washington Street, Frostburg, died yesterday in Memorial Hospital. A native of Cresaptown, he was a son of the late Joseph and Carrie (Winters) Grant. His wife, Mrs. Genevieve (MacDonald) Grant, preceded him in death. Mr. Grant was a retired carpenter, contractor and grocery store owner. He was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church and Cresaptown Volunteer Fire Company. Surviving are two sons, Allan J. Grant, Frostburg; Charles W. Grant, Sarasota, Fla.; three daughters, Mrs. Helen Bodkin, Mrs. Judy Williams and Mrs. Dorothy Hayes, all of Hagerstown; a brother, Marshall Grant, Rawlings; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Parker, Cresaptown; Mrs. Lillian Beck, Santa Maria, Calif.; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends will be received at the Hafer Chapel of the Hills Mortuary, LaVale, from 7 to 9 p.m. today and tomorrow 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Ambrose Catholic Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. A Christian wake service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow in the funeral home. The Cumberland Evening Times, July 8, 1976.
