Westernport – Mrs. Mary M. McKenzie, 83, of Cresaptown, died this morning in Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, where she had been a patient five weeks. A native of Cresaptown, she was a daughter of the late John and Jane (Starkey) Shook. Mrs. McKenzie moved to Cresaptown from here five years ago following the death of her husband, Walter McKenzie. She was a member of the Cresaptown Methodist Church and a charter member of Bloomington Chapter 75, Daughters of America. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Mae Lease, Cresaptown, with whom she resdied, and three brothers, Mark Shook, Cumberland; Charles Shook, Piedmont and William Shook, Beryl. The body is at the Boal Funeral Home here where services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m.. Interment will be in Philos Cemetery.
