      WESTERNPORT - Vivian B. McKenzie, 71, of 223 Poplar Street, Westemport, died Wednesday, Sept. 8,1993, at Sacred Heart Hospital. Bom Oct. 1, 1921, in Piedmont, W.Va,, she was the daughter of the late William Dancer and Mary Edna (Swan) Dancer. Mrs. McKenzie was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church, Piedmont. She was a member and past president of the Ladies Auxiliary, Victory Post 155 American Legion; past Mountain District Ladies Auxiliary president; past Mountain District Girls State director; a volunteer Gray Lady for the American Red Cross in Keyser, W.Va.; a Sunday School teacher for many years at the Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, where she taught Cathechism; a Sunday School teacher at the Pentecostal Holiness Church; and a member and Past Most Excellent Chief of the Calanthe Temple, Pythian Sisters, Piedmont. Surviving are her husband, Earl Fred McKenzie; three daughters, Vivian Faye Golaboff, Harker Heights, Texas; Cynthia Imperio-Sutherland, Frederick; and Mary Reeves-Fanelli, Cumberland; three sisters, Eunice Ravenscroft and Dorothy Kight, both of New Creek, W.Va.; and Gertrude Leasure, Titusville, Fla.; nine granddaughters, Fredericka Imperio-Reed, Rebecca Reeves, Mary Edna Golaboff, Caroline Reeves-Novotney, Zora Faye Golaboff, Elizabeth Golaboff, Paula Reeves, Rachel Reeves and Nicole Sutherland; three grandsons, Stanley Golaboff, David Imperio and John Golaboff Jr.; and six great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Boal-Warnick Funeral Home, Westernport, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home by the Rev. James Lopes and Rev. George Whitehurst. Interment will be in the Philos Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials take the form of contributions to the Tri-Towns Rescue Squad.
