Ethel Marie MCKENZIE (Taylor Johnson-3, Aaron William-2, Aaron William-1) was born in Sep 1895 in Lonaconing, Allegany Co., Maryland. She died on 18 Sep 1985 in Cumberland, Allegany Co., Maryland. Mrs. Ethel M. McClellan, 89, of 11 West Elton Drive, Cresaptown, died Wednesday at Sacred Heart Hospital. Born in Lonaconing, she was a daughter of the late Taylor McKenzie and Annie (Cecil) McKenzie. Her husband, Robert E. McClellan, preceded her in death in August, 1974. Surviving are a son, Ferman (Bud) McClellan, Vancouver, Wash.; nine daughters, Jo Ann Eror, Cresaptown, with whom she resided; Velma Bowman, also of Cresaptown; Rosalie Fleegle, Gaithersburg; Elwanda Biggs, Louisville, Ky.; Ethel M. Davis, West Palm Beach, Fla.; Mae Boggs, Melba Herath, Dorothy Williams, all of Cumberland, and Betty Huff, LaVale; 27 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Hafer Chapel of the Hills, Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted there Saturday at 1:30 p.m. by Delford E. Douglas. Interment will be in Hillcrest Burial Park. The Cumberland Evening Times, September 20, 1985.
