Eli “Skeets” McKenzie, 74, died yesterday evening at Allegany County Infirmary where he had been a patient for a month. He was born in Lonaconing, a son of Joshua and Mary (Alexander) McKenzie, and was formerly employed as an elevator operator at Memorial Hospital. He was a member oif St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and had resided in Cumberland for 10 years. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Hattie Connelly, Frostburg, and a brother, Timothy McKenzie, Baltimore. The body is at the Kight Funeral Home. Cumberland News, Saturday, December 7, 1957
