- FROSTBURG - Charles T. “Chill” McKenzie, 77, of 3 Susanna Street, died Sunday, May 3, 1992 at Frostburg Hospital. Born on June 1, 1914 in Lord, he was the son of the late Samuel B. and Mamie (Ravenscraft) McKenzie. A former area service supervisor for Columbia Gas Company, Mr. McKenzie retired in 1977. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of Farrady Post 24, American Legion. Survivors include his wife, Betty (Payne) McKenzie; one stepson, Gary E. Morgan, White Plains; three sisters, Virgie Carney and Bonnie Delaney, both of Detroit, Mich.; Iona McKenzie, Frostburg; one brother, Robert B. McKenzie, Shaft; two step-grandchildren, Wade E. Morgan and Kelly Jo Morgan, White Plains. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Msgr. John L. Reinsfelder officiating. Interment will be at Frostburg Memorial Park. Cumberland Times-News, Monday, May 4, 1992
