  Notes	Blaine Emerson Resh, 80, of Grantsville, died Thursday, April 30, 2020, at home. Born Nov. 22, 1939, in Grantsville, he was the son of the late Earl and Oma (Platter) Resh. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Cathy Lipscomb; four brothers, Ray, Richard, Carlton and Charles; six sisters, Freda Brittian, Mable Miller, Blanch Hillegas, Gladys Butler, Thelma Bittinger and Iva "Jack" Yommer. Blaine worked at Flushing Shirt Factory and also worked for McKenzie Saw Mill. He was a member of Divine Mercy Parish, St. Ann Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Helen (McKenzie) Resh; one son, Wayne Resh and companion, Christy Pape, Grantsville; one son-in-law, Donald Lipscomb, Grantsville; two brothers, Ralph Resh, Bean's Cove, Pa.; Guy Resh and wife, Louise, Mantua, Ohio; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Due to the limited number of people allowed to gather following the executive order by the State of Maryland, services will be private. Interment will be in Grantsville Cemetery. Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, is in charge of arrangements. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to Divine Mercy Parish, St. Ann Catholic Church, c/o St. Michael's Catholic Church, 44 E. Main St., Frostburg, MD 21532.
