McKenzie, 82, of 201 McCulloch Street, died yesterday. She had been in failing health for five years. A native of Frostburg, she was a daughter of the late Patrick and Anna (McGregor) Freal and was the widow of Edward J. McKenzie. She was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Catherine Canning, Chicago, Illinois; Mrs. Anna J. Filer, Carlos; two sons, Robert E. and William A. McKenzie, Frostburg; three sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Eisentrout, Mrs. Margaret Arnold, here; Mrs. Helen Blank, Eckhart, and 11 grandchildren. The body is at the Durst Funeral Home where friends will be received from 7 until 9 p.m. today and tomorrow from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. Services will be conducted Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home by Mr. James Pryor. Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Lafe L. McKenzie, Eugene McKenzie, Francis McKenzie, Reges McKenzie, William Wright and David Freal.
