Death Certificate courtesy of Don Kagle Lonaconing, Jan. 26 — Mrs. Cathrine Marie McKenzie, 56, died Wednesday night at her home in Nlkep, after being ill since July. Mrs. McKenzie, daughter of the late Daniel and Catherine (Naughton) Nolan, was the wife of Lawrence McKenzie. She was a member of St. Gabriel's Catholic church, Barton. Besides her husband, Mrs. McKenzie is survived by 10 children — Aloysius McKenzie, Luke; Mrs. Catherine Kirk, McCoole; Joseph McKenzie, Nikep; Mrs. Mary Timney, Baltimore; Mrs. Josephine Newhouse and Mrs. Genevieve Poland, at home: S 1-C Edward Ellsworth McKenzie, San Francisco, Calif.; Wilhelmina, Rose Marie, and Phyllis Angeline McKenzie, all at home. There are nine grandchildren. Daniel Nolan, St. Mary's Terrace, is a brother, and Mrs. Estella Harris, Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Gertrude Coleman, Nevada, are sisters. A requiem mass will be held tonorrow at 9:30 a. m. in St. Gabriel's Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The Cumberland Evening Times, January 26, 1945.
