  Notes	Melvin Hodges Drake, 64, 4301 Roberton Avenue, of Baltimore, died Thursday at the Fort Howard Veterans' Hospital there. He had been in ill health for three years. A native of Cumberland, he was a son of the late Isaac C. and Esther (Dolan) Drake. He was a retired employe of U.S. Steel Company, Baltimore. Surviving are his widow, Edna (McKenzie) Drake; a daughter, Mrs. Patricia Ritter, Baltimore; two sisters, Mrs. Lucille Thomas, city, Mrs. Evelyn Stafford of Delaware; two brothers, Homer E. Drake, Williams Road, James F. Drake, city, and five grandchildren. The body is at the Dippel Funeral home, 7100 Blair Road, Baltimore, where a service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday. Interment will follow in the Garden of Faith Cemetery, Baltimore. The Cumberland News, August 27, 1977.
