- Leonard A. McKenzie, 52, of 800 Trost Avenue, died yesterday in Sacred Heart Hospital where he had been a patient one month. A native of Cumberland, he was a son of Joseph A. McKenzie, Cumberland, and the late Cecelia (Whitaker) McKenzie. Mr. McKenzie was a machinist for the Western Maryland Railway and was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. He also was a past president of the local union of the International Association of Machinists. Surviving are his widow, Harriett (Carolan) McKenzie; a son, Leonard A. McKenzie Jr., at home; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Whetsell, Cumberland, and Miss Mary Jo McKenzie, at home; a brother, William P. McKenzie, Cumberland; two sisters, Mrs. Regina Young and Mrs. Adeline Barham, both of Cumberland, and a grandchild. The body is at the Kight Funeral Home where friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
