      obit: Raymond Voil McKenzie, 47, of 516 Woodlawn Terrace, died this morning at Sacred Heart Hospital where he was admitted yesterday after suffering a heart attack. Born May 17, 1907, in Cumberland, he was a son of Joseph A. McKenzie and the late Cecelia (Whitaker) McKenzie. Employed as a salesman by Brown Brothers, Inc., Mr. McKenzie was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society of the parish. He served in the armed forces during World War II. In addition to his father and widow, Mrs. Martha (Larkin) McKenzie, he is survived by two brothers, William P. McKenzie, Toledo, O., and Leonard A. McKenzie, city; and two sisters, Mrs. Harry Young and Mrs. Charles Barham, also of Cumberland. The body will be at the residence tomorrow morning. The Cumberland Evening Times, July 1, 1954.

      He was buried on 5 Jul 1954 in St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery, Cumberland, Allegany Co., Maryland. A requiem mass for Raymond Voil McKenzie, 47, of 616 Woodlawn Terrace, who died Thursday morning in Sacred Heart Hospital where he was admitted Wednesday after suffering a heart attack, will be celebrated tomorrow at 9 a. m. in St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers will be George and James Garlitz, Harry Stegmaier, August Rilker, Thomas Hubbs and Joseph King. The body is at the residence where the Holy Name Society of the church will recite the rosary today at 8 p. m. The Cumberland Sunday Times, July 4, 1954
