He is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Penny (Drees) Caton; special "pretty kitty", Roscoe; brother, Noah Baker and wife, Cathy, Hamptonville, N.C.; stepsister, Bev Baker and husband, Paul, Claraksville, Va.; stepbrother, Everett Baker and wife, Susan, Lusby; sisters-in-law, Brenda Robeson and husband, Kenny, Finzel, Tammy Baer and fiancé, Jeff Layman, Salisbury, Pa.; brother-in-law, Ronnie Drees and wife, Helen, Finzel; brother-in-law and great friend, Larry Baer, Meyersdale, Pa.; nieces, Samantha Bison, Texas, Alana Baker and fiancé, Bryan, Keysville, Va., Aimee Baker and husband, Alex, Hamptonville, N.C., Mandy Carder, Frostburg, Melissa Klink and husband, Darren, Finzel, Krista Long and husband, Garrett, Finzel, Brittany Dawson and husband, Jeremiah, Meyersdale, Ashley Lowdermilk and husband, Lincoln, Grantsville; nephews, Dillon Pardue and fiancé, Brittany Macemore, Hamptonville, and Dave Robeson, Finzel. He is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews. Bobby was a graduate of Beall High School and the Allegany Vo-Tech Center. Bobby's passions were lawn care and his wife. He took extreme pride in his home and meticulous lawn, spending countless hours trimming shrubs, spreading mulch, pruning trees, and planting flower beds and baskets. He received many compliments from his neighbors which really made him feel good. Early in his career, Gary and Susie Kamp offered Bobby a position as they started Fuel City. This was a job he greatly enjoyed since he was able to meet and talk to everyone he came in contact with. The Kamps were great friends to Bobby, so when the opportunity arose, he again worked for them at Chestnut Ridge Liquors, taking the early morning shift which allowed him time to manage and run his own business in the afternoon, B & P Lawn Care. Bobby scheduled his time wisely, enabling him to stop at Cindy's Tavern for a "cold one" and still make it home in time to cook dinner and pamper his wife when she returned home from work. Bobby had many friends whom he enjoyed visiting and reminiscing with, but he preferred to spend most of his time with his wife, working side by side around the house, taking mini vacations and gambling trips to area casinos, or just relaxing and watching the NASCAR races on Sunday afternoons. The family gives a huge thanks to cousin, Wanda Coughenour for her tireless efforts and support during this very brief but extremely difficult time. In accordance with Bobby's wishes, his body will be cremated with no public services at this time. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Words of comfort may be sent to the family following the obituary at www.durstfuneralhome.com.Published on June 29, 2021, in Cumberland Times-News
