SWANTON - Rhoda "Rhody" Denise Davis, 42, of Swanton, died Monday, Feb. 8, 2010, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center. Born in Frostburg on April 15, 1967, she was the daughter of Robert and Bessie (Foley) Cutter, Sr. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Cutter, Jr. She was employed by WMHS Frostburg Nursing and Rehab Center. Also surviving are her husband, Joe Davis; daughter, Amber Solano and boyfriend Will Fickes, Swanton; niece, Mary Davis and husband Shane, Swanton; stepdaughters, Adria Davis, Cresaptown, Shelby Dowman and husband David, Eckhart; grandson, Rain Dowman; sisters, Ann Lattea, Frostburg, and Cathi Green and boyfriend Roland Murphy, Swanton; three godchildren, Chyle, Kaylee and Dakota; mother-in-law, Mary S. Davis and father-in-law, Howard L. Davis; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home, Frostburg, on Friday. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2009, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. George M. Harpold officiating. Interment will be in the Murphy Cemetery.
