GRANTSVILLE — Douglass Andrew Garlitz, 2, of RD 3, Meyersdale, died Thursday night in Frostburg Community Hospital. Born in Cumberland, he was the son of Cecil and Linda (Yutzy) Garlitz. In addition to his parents, surviving are one brother, Jason Garlitz, at home; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Norris Garlitz, RD 1, Lonaconing, and maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Yutzy, RD 3, Meyersdale. Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Services will be conducted in Greenville Lutheran Church Sunday at 2 p.m. Rev. David E. Fetter will officiate. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The Cumberland News, August 13, 1977 He was buried in Greenville Cemetery, Pocahontas, Somerset Co., Pennsylvania.
