- Bessie Frances WHITACRE was born about 1905 in Hampshire Co., Virginia. She died on 30 Oct 1966 in Cumberland, Allegany Co., Maryland. Mrs. Bessie Frances Weimer, 61, Flintstone, died Sunday at Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient for one day. She had been in failing health since last July. Mrs. Weimer was born in Hampshire County, W. Va., a daughter of the late Jacob and Emily Alice (Seaton) Whitacre. Her husband, Leo M. Weimer, died in 1952. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Virginia Weimer, Flintstone; two sisters, Mrs. Sophia Faullner, and Mrs. Sarah Oliver, city; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild. The body is at the Hafer Funeral Home where friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. A service will be conducted there tomorrow at 2:30 p. m. by Rev. A. L. Lepley, pastor of the Wiley Ford Nazarene Church. Interment will be in the Mt. Savage Methodist Cemetery. The Cumberland News, November 1, 1966
