- Catherine Caroline PFISTER (daughter of Carl PFISTER and Bettie TIMMONS) was born about 1918 in Frostburg, Allegany Co., Maryland. She died on 10 Dec 1975 in Cumberland, Allegany Co., Maryland. Mrs. Catherine C. Evans, 57, of 14304 Winchester Road, Cresaptown, died yesterday at Sacred Heart Hospital, where she had been admitted Tuesday. Born in Frostburg, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Bettie (Timmons) Pfister. She was a member of Episcopal Church and a former employe in the coning department at Celanese Fibers Company. Surviving are her husband, Robert M. Evans; two sons, Carl E. Rosenberger and Robert A. Rosenberger, Cresaptown; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Mary A. Kerns, and Mrs. Emma A. Savage, Cresaptown; and 10 grandchildren. The body is at the George Funeral Home, where friends will be received from 7 until 9 p.m. today and from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. tomorrow. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home by the Rev. R. Wayne Johnston. Interment will be in Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
