CUMBERLAND — Gary Griffith Connor, 60, of Cumberland, died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2010 at his home. Born March 27, 1950 in Frostburg, Mr. Connor was the son of the late Griffith Timothy Connor and Della Catherine (McKenzie) Connor. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Hensel; and a brother, Donald Connor. Gary was employed by the Allegany County Transit Authority. He is survived by his son, Jonathan Passarell, his brother, Bernard Connor and his wife Cleo, his special friend, Tammy Darr, all of Cumberland; as well as numerous nephews. Services will be private. Gary was seriously and permanently injured in an accident on March 12, 1969. The driver of the automobile in which he was riding was Jack Tharp, Jr., who was killed.
