- Oma Alice CATON (daughter of George Washington CATON and Catherine Nancy ALBRIGHT) was born about 1899 in Somerset Co., Pennsylvania. She died on 17 Jul 1971 in Hagerstown, Washington Co., Maryland. FROSTBURG — Mrs. Oma Alice (Caton) McKenzie, 72, Finzel Road, Garrett County, died yesterday in Western Maryland Hospital, Hagerstown, where she had been a patient for several weeks. Born in Somerset County, she was a daughter of the late George and Nancy (Albright) Caton. Her husband, James Noah McKenzie, preceded her in death. She was a member of Emmanuel Methodist Church. Mrs. McKenzie is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Lester Winter and Mrs. Stanley Hartman, both of Cumberland; Mrs. Leonard Shockey, Frostburg; and Mrs. Clara Roby, Baltimore; three sons, James C. McKenzie and George W. McKenzie, both of Frostburg; and Jack H. McKenzie, Baltimore; a sister, Mrs. Walter Baker, Cumberland; a brother, Elmo Caton, Baltimore; 23 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. The body is at the Durst Funeral Home.
