FROSTBURG, Jan. 31 — Simon Caton, 53, of near Finzel, retired clay worker, died this morning in Miners' Hospital where he was admitted Tuesday. He had been in failing health five years. Mr. Caton was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church here. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Minnie (McKenzie) Caton; four sons, Clarence Caton, Frostburg, and Anthony, Lawrence and Stanley Caton, all at home; five daughters, Mrs. Leona Kitis and Mrs. Mary McKenzle, both of Frostburg, and Irene, Isabelle and, May Caton, at home; three brothers, Saul, Clifford, and Elmer Caton, all of Finzel, and three sisters, Mrs. Ellie McKenzie and Mrs. Oma McKenzie, Finzel, and Mrs. Edna Baker, Cumberland.
