- Mrs. Orville Garlitz – Avilton – Mrs. Malla Bardon Garlitz, 86, of RD 1, Lonaconing, died Saturday in Amherst (Ohio) Manor. Mrs. Garlitz was a native of Grand Forks, N.D., and the widow of Orville Garlitz. She was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church here. Surviving are three sons, Joseph Garlitz and Ellis Garlitz, both of RD 1, Lonaconing, Leonard Garlitz, Salisbury, Pa.; two daughters, Mrs. Lillian Kemp, Sheffield, lake, Ohio, Mrs. Inez Michaels, Amherst, and a sister, Mrs. Eleanor Mathieson, California. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated today at St. Ann’s Church here by the Rev. John Reinsfelder. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
