- Thomas “Dan” Harding, 90, of Salina, died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012. He was born Jan. 10, 1922, in Myersdale, Pa., the son of Owen and Mable Harding. Dan and Josephine were married June 12, 1945.
He was a plumber and pipefitter for Midwest Plumbing and a member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Union No. 441, retiring in 1982. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II. He enjoyed his family, fishing, carpentry and gardening.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Melanie Miller; two sisters, Margaret and Elizabeth; and a stepbrother, James.
Survivors include his wife, Josephine, of Salina; three sons, Steve and Tom, of Salina, and Ken and wife Kim, of Mountain Home, Ark.; five daughters, Pat Miller and husband John, of Wentzville, Mo., Linda Webb and husband Don, of Salina, Debbie McCullick and husband Doug, of Lindsborg, Dana Reeves and husband Manuel, of Castle Rock, Colo., and Kathleen Massey, of Wichita; 19 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
