She was born in Finzel, the daughter of the late Samuel and Della (Crow) Weimer. She is survived by her husband, George Evans; two daughters, Mrs. William Patterson, Midlothian, and Mrs. William Myers, Frostburg; two sons, John Evans, Midlothian and George P. Evans, New York City; 14 grandchildren; two brothers, Marshall Weimer, Cumberland, and James Weimer, Flintstone; and six sisters, Mrs. Howard Platter and Mrs. Clifton Pfaff, both of Frostburg: Mrs. George Blucker, Star Route. Frostburg; Mrs. Joseph Walizer, Flintstone, and Mrs. Ernest Sowers and Mrs. Earl Evans, both of Hagerstown. She was a member of Trinity Assembly of God Church, Midlothian. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p. m. today and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p. m. tomorrow. The Cumberland Evening Times, November 16, 1961
