- Alberta Catherine ROSENBERGER was born on 19 May 1917 in Garrett Co., Maryland. She died on 10 Aug 2005 in Frostburg, Allegany Co., Maryland. FROSTBURG - Alberta Catherine Rosenberger, 88, of Frostburg, died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2005, at Frostburg Village Nursing Care Center. Born May 19, 1917, in Garrett County, she was the daughter of the late John E. Rosenberger and Grace (La Rue) Rosenberger. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Emory F. Rosenberger; and two sisters, Edna Kimble and Clara M. McKenzie. Miss Rosenberger was a homemaker. She was Catholic by faith and attended St.Michael's Catholic Church, Frostburg. Surviving are one brother, Arthur W. Rosenberger, Finzel; one sister, Evelyn Baker, Frostburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, P.A., 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. only.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael's Catholic Church on Saturday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Father James Hannon as celebrant. Interment will be in the Finzel Cemetery. She was buried on 12 Aug 2005 in Finzel Cemetery, Finzel, Garrett Co., Maryland.
